The weekend brings the much anticipated Canterbury Food and Drink Festival 2014! The Dane John Gardens will be transformed into a delightful array of sights and smells, with a huge range of world cuisine made from the best Kentish produce. I can guarantee all tastebuds will be satisfied this weekend. With the students back in Canterbury it is a celebration of the bustling season to come, with diverse food for the diverse people of Canterbury, and us visitors of course!

There will be 3 stages of entertainment and various seating areas for those brief moments when you find yourself not tucking into all the amazing food available.

It’s perfect for kids, with Workshops, Messy Play and Face painting, circus workshops, entertainers and miniature fun fair rides. Leaving parents to relax and enjoy a Kentish beverage.

Produced in Kent will be bringing the county’s best producers and the festival bar will be full of cocktails, real ales and lagers. The Green Hop Festival Bar will be continuing the amazing first harvest tradition, in which more than 20 of the county’s breweries are making their own interpretations of the famous ale that is made of hops brewed within as little as 4 hours after being picked!
