2015 is drawing to a close already. Where has the time gone?
We’ve been busy bees at Pearson’s.
Summer was mad as ever, with this year’s Oyster festival keeping us rushed off our feet and having an awful lot of fun. We’ve also offered more live music than ever, with sessions on both Tuesdays and Sundays throughout the year.
We held a special evening in November for some of our friends and loyal customers to showcase the new winter menus, and that went down an absolute treat – we had around 180 in attendance which was fairly cosy!
A big feature of those menus is our Express Lunch offering. Using seasonal and local ingredients, these lunch menus change regularly and are great value at 2 courses for £12.95 or 3 for £14.95.
We also were added to the Michelin Guide and the Good Pub Guide for 2016 – a fantastic achievement for Jake, Paolo, Craig and all the staff.
So what’s coming up?
We’re open more than ever over December and New Year so talk to us if you’re looking to celebrate with friends or family! We have availability for functions and parties over the Christmas period, are offering a special Boxing Day menu with 3 courses £29.50 and are open on New Years Day for food. We also still have tickets for the bar on New Years Eve – it’s bound to be a great night. See details here.
After that, we’ve already got lots new planned for 2016. A special dinner with Richard Phillips on January 7th is already sold out, but there’s much more to get your teeth into. We will be offering cocktail making (and tasting!) master classes in 2016 – a 2 hour session for up to 6 people, teaching you to make your favourite cocktails properly. Classes run from 4pm to 6pm Monday to Saturday for £55 per person. Booking is essential so get in touch!
Another early one to look our for is our Valentines special – a fantastic 4 course meal with a glass of fizz for just £58 per person. Available on 13th and 14th of February – booking is essential so get in touch if you’re interested.
