If you live near the Windmill or fancy a trip to Hollingbourne an the surrounding areas, Leeds castle is an stunning attraction.  This half term they have the Leeds Castle Fairytale Trail, the little ones can answer clues about traditional fairytales as you follow the trail through the beautiful Castle grounds and gardens. There will also be fairytale stories each day and don’t forget about the maze and the adventure playgrounds. Feel free to use The Windmill carpark as Leeds Castle is just a short walk away, you can treat yourselves to a delicious meal after all those hours of fun!

Around 20 mins from Pearson’s is Brogdale farm home of the famous Brogdale apple festival. Their half term theme is bugs! Hunt for and collect bugs in the orchards with a performing leader. See where the bugs live in the wild and why we need them so much! Thats not all! a live bug roadshow will be presenting an impressive collection of Mega Bugs including giant cockroaches, millipedes, stick insects and moths! Don’t forget some wet wipes for sticky hands after making your very own bugs in the craft area.

Just 20 minutes from Tunbridge Wells is Hop farm, with indoor entertainment shows an soft play as well as animal displays, The Magic Castle, Driving School and lots more you will be sure to have a fun filled day. Milling around will be all sorts of characters; Hopper the Rabbit, Barbara Beaver and Holey Moley and the best bit is the park is free to enter!
